I was actually reminded of the movie with Sly, Wesley Snipes and Sandra Bullock. You know the one where they are frozen in a suspended animation prison and Sly-baby wants to take up knitting due to his "reprogramming'?

See it made such an impression that I forgot the name of it!!

But it was funny because it was SOOO bad!!

Actually as I think about it - Demolition Man had a similar theme to Virtuosity - another shocker but this time with Denzel and Russell ("I look great in a skirt") Crowe.

Where they reprogram the bad guys by adding bits and pieces of famous (dead) bad guys into a super-baddie. But they always get outsmarted in the final scene by the good guy who has a flaw or has stuffed up in the past but has a heart of pure gold undernearth resulting in atonement for past sins/mistakes.

Yes indeed it was but we all learnt about smiley faces - : ) sign on the wall in the first scene!!!
