I didn't know Cinnabon was in Japan. Those hot, sweet, buns of pure eating joy... makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
BTW, Krispy Kreme is a (US) national donut chain. They're doughnuts are ok, but they have nothing on the donut king, Tastee Donuts, IMHO. Tastee also has KastleBurgers (made famous by White Castle restaurants). Those things are the best munchie food, hands down.
On a side note, I have no idea what posseses a donut company (or any company, for that matter) to intentionally misspell their name. Have all the names been taken, that you actually have to come up with new ways to spell it? jeesh...
I think you can get them now at the Golden Arches or Lotteria. Coffee set or something.
I would like to know where to find an actual Cinnabon store - I heard a rumour that they were closing some stores? There is one in Yokosuka but that is way too far to go for a sugar hit.
They put crack in those doughnuts. Crack, I tell you! When that "Hot Doughnuts" sign goes on, just get out of my way. I dare say they cease to be Food of the Gods when they're cold, though.
By the way, there are also Cinnabon stores in Shinjuku (I think it's still on the B1 level of Mitsukoshi, just follow your nose) and Kichijoji (kind of hard to explain, but somewhere in the arcade area).
I make sure to grab a Cinnabon at their store in Odaiba. But Krispy Kreme doughnuts put their competitors to shame. Nothing beats one of their glazed doughnuts right out of the oven. The chain is known for letting people watch the doughnuts come off the conveyor belt and go into boxes before eating. Mmmmmmmm........
