OMG Just saw the video on Yahoo's Launch. That was terrible. I'm surprised she even reached 160 on the chart... kinda makes ya wonder who the 40 below were.

another delayed reaction of a different sort.....

one of the kiddies at a Utada fan site found this link. lmao at some of the comments there. but then much of the rest of that place has your typical fanboy/girl adoration of someone who can do little wrong when the reality is lot of them are too blinded by that to realize how much Hikki really sucks on multiple levels.

anyone else anal enough to notice that on the ds cm broadcast on 30 jan had a medley of DS games, the soundtrack of Easy Breezy ending on "You look stupid" just as "touch! DS!" ends the ad? are nin really beyond caring? 8O :twisted: :cry: :lol:

Utada is expanding her relationship with Nintendo's DS...Going beyond the background music of the first round of DS commercials, she's actually starring in ads for the new "Nintendogs" game, somewhat realistic and extremely cute looking virtual dog program.

She sure looks a bit different than in her easy cheezy video as she hangs out alone in very plush HI/CA looking house and plays with her DS.

And as added bonus, you can apparently download her pet dog "shinchan" at kiosks in stores via the wireless DS connection and play with it (people can also download demos of a few other games as well)

Well Puffy Ami Yumi, has found a way to carve a niche for themselves in America with their cartoon show, (yes it looks lame but it`s a giant leap from Pink Lady and Jeff 25 years ago,) and a limited tour schedule. They also have a cult following in America, (ESPECIALLY in Canada where their tv show just started being shown there and it has taken off big time.) That is something Hikki just doesn`t have.

I`ve never been a fan of Utada as I always thought she came off as pretentious and lame. (Although I didn`t mind Travelling, that is a decent song.) I have liked Idol Stars who had a level of charisma beyond the music. Hikki, just doesn`t have that presence and I find her stuff falls flat as a result.

I listened to Easy Breezy for the first time and never noticed just how horrible Hikki's voice really sounds. She picked some really bad songs to showcase her voice with. (At least Kiss in the Dark didn't sound like Pink Lady was fumbling through the lyricsheet.) I officially give "Your easy breezy and I'm Japanesy" the comic book man stamp of approval:

In all fairness, she did have a ovarian tumor operation back in 2002 and after effects of that may be that she is experiencing some humoral problems which would tend to make her pork up.
