What's "Arbeit Macht Frei" in Japanese?

New intelligence center to deal with illegal foreigners
JapanTaoday.com / Dec 13
....The center will analyze information on suspicious foreigners it gathers from abroad and the National Policy Agency, and share it with local immigration bureaus nationwide in order to tighten immigration controls at local airports and ports.... include details about illegal aliens' national origins, their flight or navigation routes, their points of entry to Japan and their movements....more....

. I am expecting this intelligence center's real job is to increase harassment of both legal aliens and illegal.

I think best translation for 'Arbeit Machi Frei' would be Karoshi.

Seriously, was anyone passed throught immigration lately? Are they really tighten up or not? I haven't heard of anyone who has gone throught immigrations recently who has had any problems.

I'm expecting the retina scans and the anal probe on next Saturday in Narita. All those scanning cameras are creepy, and my name pops up on their terrorist lists. No telling how hissy they are gonna be to me when I return in Jan. since their damn "Intelligence Center" is hooked directly to my old FBI files for anti-nuke protests. Meh.

The Japanese Immigration itself is suspicious with its lack of protocol.

How do they expect to work with other agencies if they dont have internal protocol and dont know what the fuck a Database is??

Some might know that this sentence is German - "Arbeit Macht Frei".

Dimwit is right, the sentence goes to the direction of Karoshi...

Arbeit mach frei means 1 to 1 translated: "work makes free" - "working makes free"
