JapanToday...WORST BOARD EVER!

Hello, i'm new to this board. I lived in japan for 3 years while I was in the USMC and a year as a civilain.
i started going to japan today because I heard about it through a friend. He was busted for marijuana in Japan and was in jail for 3 months before getting a suspended sentence. He posted his story as a learning experience that others can learn from, not sympathy. he was attacked by members and moderators. they started harassing him through pm and he replied and was banned.
When I went there all I see is idiotic anti american comments. go over there and look, its 80 percent of their board. On one thread a member said "Usama make me smile" and a member, whose sister was killed on 9/11, responded and his post deleted and he was banned. He told me through a pm on another board. I went there and brought this up. my posts were deleted, but the usama comment remained.
then i started to research the board. many of their moderators are the same people who start these anti american threads. i seen many post bashing america in a 5th grade mentality. posts like "9/11 5 more times" "usama will bitch smack america again""americans are fat and evil" "America is the most evil country inthe world" etc
well tonight i went there and there was a post blaming the tidal wave in the indian ocean on America! I responded to this comment, my post was deleted. the insult remained. then i posted again and this mod (bryn) editted my post to make it look like i was agreeing with the insult! 2 other members saw this. one posted that was wrong and my posts weren't insulting. his posts were deleted. the other member just pm me expressing disgust at what happened. i ask them to report it to the admin.
I wrote the admin reporting this..then i get banned!
that site has nothing to offer regarding Japan. All they do is bash America. its like they are disgruntled japanophiles that are self hating. its amazing that site remains up.

I'm not the only one who see's this. well, i found this board and i searched it a little and it doesn't look like a american bashing board so i hope i can contribute about japan. thats something that is non existant at japantoday.

That board is just awful. If I want to read an article there I'm careful to never look at any comments by posters. So, you are not alone.

On the other hand America deserves to be questioned by people from other countries, we can't just ignore the whole world, maybe there are some problems.

It depends on what you regard as 'bashing'. Please don't interpret debate as bashing. I love my country.. That's why I make it be known when I see it's foundation crumbling.

Hey if you read what I actualy posted, you would see that it wasnt a generalisation since I indentified blue staters as a sub group. If you go around mis quoting people I am not really supprised people are not warming to you.
