Morning all!

Postby Max The Doorman » Wed Jan 12, 2005 11:27 am

Max The Doorman here! Just popping in to say keep the noise down and I don't want any trouble. Am currently travelling around Japan in my motorised home with my good buddy Paddy O'Shea - missing being able to do my Friday big shop but the I have to admit the scenery is astounding. Ran in to a bit of trouble the other night, some fella mistook me for an American I said "How dare you!" and proceeded to explain that I was indeed British and from Bolton. Think on good buddy, think on!

Always thinking!
How dare you!

Hello....

A Swede checking in; I've been lurking around for a few months, but now it just got to annoying to not being able to reply so I just had to register!

I live in Tokyo since about two years back; but I've been here before, first at ASIJ during Elementary School, and then studying Japanese at YMCA after graduating High School.

Anyway, now I'm back (for good?) working.

No need to decode my posts, AK. Who understands artists? I go on and post my favourite song vocals from time to time to get you entertained!
Deal? :P

I`m with Asskissinger. Blixa Bargeld. Crazy guitarist great but very strange band (no pencil to take the spelling down). Bit of a fan of the Bad Seeds for many years. What do you think of his guitar work compared to Rowland S. Howard. For me similar but howard`s is a bit more choppy. can`t fault the pedigree though. have an album at home but found it a little hard going. I reckon now is the perfect time to get re-aquainted with Collapsins new Buildings (at least Thats easy).
Why are you here in Japan, vir-jin? Probably in earlier posts but laziness can be a virtue.

Introductions. Well I have You Am I playing now and a beer or two close at hand, a cig not too far away. got a kid and another very close. Been here for about 4 years but dreaming of heading home. Teach English and do my fair share of bitching about the place. Love surfing and snowboarding and outdoor stuff.
Travelled a small amount here and find the temple circuit fucking trying so keep myself to nature or friends that arte important here. My Japanese sucks but i am working dilligently on it in the hope I won`t be overtaken by my daughter. So in all that i hope you all get out of your visit what you expect, and more.

Hey, just thought I should post something to introduce myself. I just signed up because I'm actually sick in my room with nothing better to do. I used to study in Osaka, but I'm currently in Tokyo (where I first lived in Japan). Been in Japan for about 6 months. I'm 20, American, and obviously studying Japanese.
Anyway, nice to be here.

Interesting link, Kotatsuneko.
But I didn't like the violence aspect and the disguised outfits. I don't want to get even closer to a scaring identity than I already am :D

Fair enough, I can get an insight in what staying in Japan for a prolonged period does to a person.

Howdy! My Rice Ranch in Ehime Shikoku and I've got plenty of Japanese family in Wakayama, land-of-Japan's-funkiest-dialect. The FG poster"Japslapper" lives there so ya better look him up after you get acquainted here.

Is that like wearing the Canadian flag on your backpack? Starting out each post with a default, "Hello, I'm Canadian."? ;)

I'm just giving you shit, BTW..

Welcome!

Do you mean page 38 of the topic "New Members-Introduce Yourselves" ?

Here's the link.. http://www.fuckedgaijin.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5389&start=370

And for future FYI, you could've just clicked on the number "38" under the topic, for it'll have taken you straight to the page.
