That last shot was awful! I guess there are some gaijin out there with worse teeth than the Japanese.

Inhuman gaijin

Postby kamome » Thu Apr 25, 2002 1:42 am

How about the "Pinky" mint commercials and the "Great Cocktails" commercials? Not only do the gaijin actors look fake, but their lines are totally stupid.

bikkle, are there links out there to these commercials so that people can see for themselves how bad the gaijin look in them?

Actually, I was going to suggest that too. Either here or there, depending on bandwidth. Or maybe on TokyoDV. Although, I do think the appeal of lame unknown Gaijins on TV can only truly be appreciated by the more refined Fucked Gaijin among us.

Go start cappin'!

Hmmmm.. well, I think it'd make a nice attention to my site, so I'll give it a shot soon. Hopefully the ISP hosting it won't bitch. :? I also have to do that Dance Dance Revolution semi-porn that I got.. oh, and that sex education film for retarded children. (Not that that has anything to do with Japan.. it's just gut-gushingly funny. :D )

Oh Lord...

Postby kamome » Tue May 07, 2002 3:33 pm

This is the funniest thread on FG yet! Hilarious shit! Mini-G rules! I'd love to see a Mini-G version of the Waldo phenomenon (you know, that picture of the mysterious traveler who showed up on the WTC the moment before the airplane impacts?). But this time, all photos with Mini-G have to be animated. Talk about a laugh-fest....

well, i don't about the rest of 'ya but i keep checking this thread dreading that my mug is going to be on here, lord knows I've had a few of these types of photos taken of me in the past.

here's another photo, if I may be indulged for posting an image without anyone in it. I saw this yesterday at Meiji Shrine, and if you can read it, I think we can say that "Marcello" (did I re-transliterate the katakana right?) is indeed fucked.

Re: FG Scouts

Postby sukebekuro » Wed May 08, 2002 12:07 pm

bikkle wrote:Dude, do I understand correctly: you took this picture to post here, right? If so, that's awesome, man. We had always envisioned legions of F*cked Gaijin walking around Japan with their digicams and phone cams taking pictures of F*cked Gaijin to see who could find the most F*cked Gaijin. (It wasn't really supposed be about pics on the net...but I think that will help us get started until we develop a loyal group of FG photographers.) Unfortunately, my main man with a phone cam burned out after only 3 shots...and we haven't heard from him since.

Ultra--as you so rightly pointed out in another thread, I am Fucked enough that not only am I scouring the net for FG snaps, but actively pursuing the subject(s) out on the streets of Tokyo! So yes, I took this picture specifically for this thread. My wife and I were at Meiji on Monday and I noticed that many of these ema or votives were written by gaijin (it is a tourist locale after all), so when I spotted the katakana name I asked my wife to translate it for me. Seemed like a good excuse to do a little "variation on the theme" as they say.

(at the risk of providing my own grist for this fucked mill, more photos of Meiji can be found at my photo blog: http://www.easterwood.org/japan02/)

i think we have our FG's confused

I think we have our FG's confused, if you're implying that the guy in the pic I posted (now blurred) is the same guy who wrote that springtime article, that's not correct. (that guy is Kevin Burns, who maintains this site about living in Japan). Nor do I think this person is a FG member, though I suppose it's possible.

I'm not going to say where I found the pic, but it is actually someone that some folks might know (not necessarily know in person, but via the net). It is a gaijin who's been here quite a while. However, it's most def. not who Mercutio thought it was.

bikkle wrote:sukebekuro, are you sure you weren't cheating?

No, definitely not, just being so fucked that I continue to scour the net for random FG's.

Something must be up...

Postby cstaylor » Thu May 09, 2002 9:29 pm

... because yesterday when I read the original post, I got to that guy's website. He's the founding member of some anime group (I saw another shot of three guys who used to work together at the UCSD library).

sukebekuro and mercutio, not to point out the obivous, but...when you post a link like that, it's pretty easy to figure out the website it came from (unless you host it on your own server). The guy's name is on the site.
