I'm definetly going to one of those shibuya shows. So i have to pick which band i want to see after Melt Banana.
Dalek is weird hip hop, Red Krayola is an indi rock legend(supposedly) and Dillinger Escape Plan is hardcore with a twist. Hmmm what to do ?

Dalek
Japan Times
One rarely hears the term "underground rock" used any more, since the breakdown of the traditional indie/major dichotomy has rendered any stylistic notions attached to the term pointless. However, the term underground hip-hop is still very much in use, probably because mainstream hip-hop is such a slave to popular formulas.

New Jersey rapper Dalek (Will Brooks) is underground in the purest sense, meaning he's cultivated a following mainly through touring. Dalek and his production partner, Oktopus (Alap Momin), met at school in the mid-'90s, dropped out and invested in a home studio where they recorded their first album. Since then, they've hired turntablist DJ Still (Hsi-Chang Linaka) and spent all their time on the road, where they've opened for acts as diverse as The Roots and The Dillinger Escape Plan, but their blend of Bomb Squad cacophony, willful dissonance and free-form electronica place them at the fringe of any genre you'd care to throw out, including hip-hop....the rest...

Red Krayola
Japan Times
Few musicians have tuned in and then twisted the musical zeitgeist as much as Mayo Thompson. Red Krayola, the main conduit for his music, is arguably rock's longest running underground band. Founded in Texas in 1966 as a psychedelic group, Red Krayola made the most outlandish freaked-out sounds of the time seem tame by comparison.

Thompson and Red Krayola have continued to confound labeling ever since. To pinpoint a particular sound or style that sums up the group's numerous records is virtually impossible. Experimentation is Krayola's hallmark, but it is not the noisy or alienating kind. Thompson pushes the envelope playfully. Sometimes, it can take the helter-skelter form of angular post-punk. On another album, Thompson harkens back to his roots as a Texan hippie and Red Krayola become a far-out acoustic group....the rest...

Sounds like you have a happy problem here.

Dalek is weird hip hop

Wow, this sounds interesting. A free MP3 here for you:

Red Krayola is an indi rock legend(supposedly)

Has a couple of QT movies. These old dudes can grind it out with the best of 'em. Drony and grindy. Much different than MB.

Dillinger Escape Plan is hardcore with a twist. Hmmm what to do ?

A little play controller will let you screen through some songs. Metal-core and screaming guy on vocals. Rather like MB in technicality...lots of "parts".

Have a good time and bring your Pongi helmet for safety and identification purposes.

You should see them with Red Krayola

 http://launch.yahoo.com/ar-261133-bio--The-Red-Krayola

The Red Krayola, initially spelled Red Crayola, were formed in Houston as a trio in 1966...free-form freakout" noise threatening to smother the songs underneath, it's been hailed as a precursor to the assault of industrial rock

Thanks for all the info !
I guess it's gonna be red krayola, then again the price of the ticket is also a big factor so i'll check that out.
What about the venues , which is best between Loft and O-nest ?
