HEY KIDS! Here's some great science fun.
Check out the Global Invasive Species Database (GISD) of the Global Invasive Species Programme .
All you have to do is to type in the name of your country like Japan or your specific location and the GISD gives you the scientific and common names for the various ALIEN intruders in your area such as the 73 invasive species in Japan.

Funny I didn't see your name on the list (or any other FG for that matter) so I guess we're okay for now.

10. Cyprinus carpio (fish)
The common carp, has been introduced as a food and ornamental fish, into temperate freshwaters throughout the world. It is considered a pest because of its abundance and its tendency to reduce water clarity and destroy and uproot aquatic vegetation, used as habitat by a variety of aquatic species.


So... who is going to tell the Japanese that they have to get rid of their carps? What will they put on their childrens' flags?
