REM Concert in March in Osaka

I am heading there. Should be quite fun. At 7000 yen per ticket I consider that more than reasonable in Japan.

Can't wait to see their concert.

Just returned and all I say is WOW!!! They rocked the venue.. nearly brought that big fucking cube to the floor. It was the first time I think they played in Osaka, and the band gave it hell. I enjoyed every minute.. especially "Man on the Moon"... Wished I could have listened all night..

Tons of foreigners, crazy ass japanese, there was not an empty seat in the whole place... One wacked ass foreigner I know jumped over the balcony, which was just about a 4 foot drop... and then jumped back over the balcony and back in his seat... the party I was with stared in amazement...

It was a show to remember.

I went to the nagoya show last night, the 17th.
Awesome. Very few bands can match theirCDs live, but REM did just that. Plus they played a very rare country feedback with a wicked buck solo.
They played maps and legends also, awesome, just awesome.
I saw them ten years ago on the monster tour, and they are every bit as good now.
the new song they played promises that the new albumn will be more in the vein of monster.

REM is an awesome group! I saw them up and close in Malaysia years ago....have a great time!!
