First of all, the cops closests to the suspect should not have guns. They should have body armor and stun guns,battons, or cattle prods in case something happens. They can't draw down on someone so close to them anyway. Second, the people with guns need to be at a decent distance from the suspect and they need to be covering three or four angles, forming a perimeter.

It doesn't matter who you are, you don't put firearms close to psychos. You used short distance 2non lethal" weapons.

As far as the women's lib goes-- it is case by case. Yeah a woman standing close to a guy who out weighs her is gonna get hurt if he blind sides and tackles her.

But what if the suspect is not in a hallway standing in a tackling position? I mean aren't most suspects "caught" by being tracked down? Do you want a fat over weight dude running down the bad guy or a PERSON who is agile and fast and can keep radio contact while they are tracking the person. It isn't TV, they don't have to TAKE someone DOWN man-to-man.


I think, if anything, police need to be and stay in good shape. I think they need to be trained better so they don't put guns in front of a psycho killers.

I'll agree in part to what has been said. SOMEONE should be home taking care of the kids.. if you choose to have kids, you should have the finances to take care of them properly.. or send them to a boarding school....

I wrote about this very thing in my wallop blog.. I think men should take care of women and children, and women should take care of the family business. It should be an equal partnership. I guess I also think the converse would be fine as well.

But too often, kids raise themselves and that can lead, but not always to issues. Kids need support. Who does it does not matter as long as someone does.

As for this issue that women shouldn't be allowed to do this or that job because of their physique... I think it is a lame argument... Bout the only time I see a woman not being able to do a job, would be something like Chip N Dale stripping Note* unless she had a sex change, or something else where she'd need a penis.

There are women out there that are herculian in strength and are not very big.

They would simply be a liability in battle, no chance of pullin my ass out of a pickle, no way they can handle the punishment of even basic training. IF you ask me, the army and police force have LOWERED their standards. Shit even 20 years ago we had HEIGHT restrictions to enter the police force. Now almost any woman or piss-ant man can join up.
