Tokyoite Kidnapped Through The Internet

Kyodo via Yahoo: Man held for allegedly holding woman captive in Tokyo for 3 months
A 24-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of holding a 19-year-old woman captive for more than three months in Tokyo by use of a collar, police said. Yasuyoshi Kobayashi, a resident of Sapporo, is suspected of calling the woman, whom he had got to know through the Internet, out to a Tokyo hotel around March 8 last year, and then punching her in the face repeatedly and warning her not to escape, the police said. He then used the collar in confining her in both the hotel room and his house in Tokyo's Adachi Ward at that time until June 19, they said. The woman managed to escape that day while Kobayashi was not watching her for a while and she then filed a criminal complaint in July, leading the Metropolitan Police Department to launch an investigation. Kobayashi was quoted as telling the police he does not remember the incident.

Mehrpooran came to Japan in 1991 from Iran with the same hopes and aspirations as so many other foreigners disembarking at Narita Airport. In 1994 he was living with a Japanese wife in Chiba Prefecture where he had chosen to stay with his new family and pursue his dreams of happiness in a new land of wealth and opportunity.
On June 20, 1994 he was stopped in Ueno and detained by the Japanese police at the Minami Senju Police Station on suspicion of being in the country without a proper visa after failing to produce his passport. He remained in police custody throughout the night, and at 7:10 a.m. the next morning he was dead. Mehrpooran was 31 years old.
Police said that Mehrpooran died from a blood clot in the arteries of the lung, and that he had inflicted the injuries himself, including a three-centimeter gash on his forehead, "with his violent behavior" while being taken to jail. According to police, he deliberately smashed his head against the seats in the prison minibus, thus explaining why his clothes were covered in blood after arriving at the police station. However, numerous small injuries and wounds, severe internal hemorrhaging and bruises on several places on his lower abdomen seemed to suggest that Mehrpooran was a murder victim of police brutality. However, no criminal charges were ever filed against the NPA policeHuman Rights Watch issued a report titled "Prison Conditions in Japan" claiming that human rights violations were severe and routine throughout the nation.

Now that's a F*CKED GAIJIN !!

A man who kept a teenage girl chained on a dog leash as he held her captive for three months has been arrested, police said.
Yasuyoshi Kobayashi, 24, from Sapporo, was arrested for illegal confinement of an 18-year-old girl.
Kobayashi was already on probation following convictions for his brutal treatment of two young women in 2003 and another woman lured into his apartment and treated roughly has filed a complaint about him with the police.
Kobayashi denies all the allegations against him.
"I don't understand what you're talking about. I don't remember anything. I'm a loony," he told the police.
Tokyo police said Kobayashi's arrest resulted from his treatment of a then 18-year-old girl from Hyogo Prefecture he met through an online chat site about February last year by pretending he was a woman.

On or about March 8, 2004, Kobayashi forced the girl to meet him in a Tokyo hotel, where he bashed and threatened her and told the girl he would not let her go free, police said.

Police said Kobayashi kept the girl a prisoner as he moved about from various hotels to the Adachi-ku, Tokyo, apartment he was then living in.

After meeting her online by pretending to be a woman, in March he suddenly contacted the girl, telling her he had set the yakuza onto her and urging the teen to get away from her home before the gangsters came and attacked her. He deposited 30,000 yen in her bank account as a "getaway" fund that paid for her to travel to Tokyo.

After taking her to his apartment, Kobayashi slapped a dog collar around her neck and led her around with a chain. He made her strip for steamy photos. Whenever he went outside, he took her with him.

The girl escaped sometime around June 19 last year, running away when Kobayashi was otherwise occupied and seeking refuge in shop.

In August 2003, the Sapporo District Court convicted Kobayashi for assault after he slashed and scalded with boiling water a 21-year-old woman and 19-year-old girl he had forced to live with him. The court ordered him to serve three years in jail, but suspended the sentence for five years. He remains on probation. (Mainichi Shimbun, May 12, 2005)

Rape training software, girl's clothes found in captor's home

A search of the Sapporo apartment of Yasuyoshi Kobayashi, the man arrested Wednesday for chaining an 18-year-old girl to a leash and holding her captive for three months, has uncovered a huge stash of adult CD-ROMS and girl's clothing, police said.

Police investigators reportedly found about 1,000 adult computer game CD-ROMS and a number of outfits such as sailor-type girls' uniforms, during a search of the 24-year-old's home in Sapporo's Chuo-ku.

Chains and other items were also found in the apartment, and police seized several dozen boxes of evidence. Among the software was at least one so-called "training game" in which girls are raped. Police said they would carefully examine the contents of the software to determine whether it bore any relation to Kobayashi's crime.

Kobayashi is believed to have held the 18-year-old girl captive in an apartment in Tokyo's Adachi-ku for 104 days from March last year. During the period of confinement, he fastened a dog collar around her neck and tied her to a doorknob, and made the girl take off her clothes to pose for explicit photographs, police said. He allegedly made the girl call him "master" and beat her for trifling mistakes.

Investigators said that Kobayashi had deceived the girl's parents for her to change her resident's certificate and make it appear as if she was living with him at the Adachi-ku apartment. The girl, who met Kobayashi through an Internet chat site, came to Tokyo after Kobayashi allegedly threatened to set gangsters on her family home.

Kobayashi was from Sapporo. As he left for Tokyo, he lied to his father and others, telling them that he was going to attend a preparatory school because he wanted to get into the medical school at Hokkaido University.

Police said it was likely Kobayashi's actions were calculated to hide the fact that he was holding the girl captive for a long period of time.

Kobayashi met the girl for the first time on March 8 last year in a hotel in Tokyo's Shibuya-ku, where he hit her in the face. He held her captive in various hotels and the apartment in Tokyo's Adachi-ku until June 19, 2004, keeping her chained on a leash so she couldn't escape.

While he was holding the girl captive, Kobayashi had her phone her parents and say she was doing well in Tokyo, and phoned her family himself in a bid to eliminate their worries. He also planned to move the girl's registered address to Adachi-ku, and asked her family to remove her as a dependent from the family's health insurance card.

At the time of the incident, Kobayashi was already on probation for another crime. Speaking in a news conference on Friday, Justice Minister Chieko Noono said she had ordered an investigation into whether there were any problems with the way Kobayashi was observed during the probation period.

Kobayashi was arrested by Hokkaido police in 2002 after he allegedly faked a marriage with a 17-year-old girl he made live with him, making it appear as if he had received consent from the girl's parents.

A lawyer handling the Hokkaido incident said it appeared that Kobayashi had been living with the 18-year-old girl when he met him in the Adachi-ku apartment in May last year, but said nothing seemed suspicious.

"At the beginning of this month, he came to my office and said, 'I was attending a preparatory school with the girl in Tokyo,'" the lawyer said. "There were reference books lying around and nothing suggesting that the girl was being held."

In the Hokkaido incident, police had reportedly seized about 30 adult "training games."

At the time of his arrest, Kobayashi claimed that he had mental problems and denied any recollection of the incident. (Mainichi Shimbun, Japan, May 13, 2005)

Abductor a momma's boy

Postby dimwit » Mon May 16, 2005 4:44 pm

Kidnapper sought mother figure

Kobayashi is the only child of wealthy parents and, according to classmates, was spoiled by his education-conscious mother.

They remembered him being chauffeured to cram school in a Mercedes-Benz and having a cell phone at school, a rare thing at the time.

Kobayashi became suicidal after his mother died when he was in high school.

After dropping out of two high schools in Aomori Prefecture, he moved into an apartment paid for by an allowance from his father. He moved to Tokyo in March last year.

He has been quoted as once telling a friend, "I can't live without a woman who can play the role of my mom."

I hate to think what you would make of Europe if you took a random selection of that continent's crime news articles and drew the same general conclusions.

Simple, if you took the news items
you'd get the impression it was full of drug abusing, drunken soccer hooligans and it might not be an exaggeration

strange how these crime topics often change into a Japanophile discussion on how the West is evil and how America and Europe is full of bad people

Another case in Osaka this week
Wonder how many others are being held as I type. Worse, how many bodies have been dumped after the playtoy didn't act like mommy does or like their weird hentai fantasy girl from manga.
