That was my point. I'm probably one of the few guys who notice shit like that though. I guess I'm just half a fag.

One more thing that drives me NUTS. Open-toed shoes with stockings. That looks so crappy.

no your not a half fag, you just notice when a girl has done a good job at bringing out her natural beauty.

Stockings in open toe shoes are so fricken grandma. ughhh so fricken ugly.

he worst fashion disaster that is happening here at the mo is chicks wearing mini skirts (its winter here) with big massive furry ugg boots. fuck its so wrong.

Haha! That used to crack me up. Actually, I think there seems to be a real issue with shoes in general in Japan. Peole wear some weird shit on their feet.

I feel bad now. We've turned this into another Japan bashing fest. Maybe we should start a Japanese femininity/fashion thread. I feel so gay talking about this shit, but I actually like fashion. Hell, I even like going shopping with my girlfriends. Just don't ask me to hold your purse. :x

i dont think its a japan bashing thread. more of a comparision between western and japanese feminism. Neither is better than the other, they just are very different and have features which appeal to different people.

You like shopping with girls??????????? now that is rare. Damn even i hate shopping with girls sometimes

It started in high school. My female friends liked taking me shopping because they trusted my taste and they knew I had to balls to tell them what does and doesn't look good on them. They'd even ask me if a lipstick color worked on them. Maybe I missed my calling and should have gone into fashion design. Imagine the access I'd have to hot women being the only straight guy around.

Lurker, the thing is I'm not at all metro in my style though. No highlights in my hair or faggy fashions. Well, I guess I do have a couple of questionable shirts. But whenever I wear them I get lots of compliments from the ladies.

I've been a car nut since before I could drive. :D Still am -- certifiably so. I hope in a few years to buy a Lotus Elise... (Still too hard to get.)

I grew up in a smallish city (300,000) and now live in Osaka. I've always loved electronics and mechanics though. Too each their own.

Fuck clothes and shit like that. In the interest of the environment I always use my clothes untill they are dead. I almost never buy clothes neither, I wear whatever I'm given  I only have 1 pair of jeans which I bought in UniQlo 5 years ago and they still great. When it gets dirty I alternate with a pair of X army pants. Capitalists hate people like me 8)
