Japan has caused a stir in Australia recently with its decision to continue whaling in Australian waters. Even Prime Minister John Howard has said Japan's desire to increase its annual cull is a "very bad decision".
But according to the Japanese embassy it's not an issue because
"There is no such thing as an Australian whale..."
