Dude, that's the oldest argument in the book, and people keep using it incorrectly in today's context. But I would just second what GuyJean said.
Also, I'd like to see how open minded you'd be about a big hairy 30-something guy like me marrying and banging "your" 12 year-old daughter. I don't think you'd be too happy. I know I wouldn't be.
Naniwan Kid wrote:Making it personal doesn't make it an argument. No dude wants to think about his daughter getting banged. Doesn't matter the age....11, 16, 21, 30..

"They copied photos onto an anti-Japanese site to see what kind of reaction they'd get," the source says. "They put up the usual photos of porn and animals, but when someone posted a photo of Saaya, many Chinese went for it hook, line and sinker."
Shortly after the photo and message were posted, the number of anti-Japanese postings rapidly declined, largely replaced by messages praising the girl's loveliness.

I'm about as far from a puritan as you can get AK... But come on man, she's 11 years old!
She is probably enjoying the attention, but at 11 she likely has no real idea what kind of attention she is generating.

If you weren't such a regularly-posting member, this would clearly be a clear attempt at trolling.
You said similar crap (i.e. "Fugly!") on the thread about the Nisei Week beauty queens.
When will you grow up and quit criticizing other people's looks?
Three schoolgirl sisters have given birth aged 12, 14 and 16.
The Williams sisters, who live with their mother in a council house in Derby, feature in a BBC3 documentary called Desperate Midwives.
Their mother Julie Atkins, 38, who said the girls were too young and had ruined their lives, blamed schools for providing poor quality sex education.

Why oh why do people not take responsibility for their own brats' upbringing??

Because left-wing thinking has made them feel that they're entitled to have society raise their kids for them.
This brings up a good question: Among which group is teen pregnancy more common? Left-wing orgy seekers, or right-wing Jesus freaks?FG Lurker wrote:Or right-wing religious conservatives have taught people that sex is evil and they shouldn't talk about it.

I've heard that too.. Fundamentalism may not be the reason, but the religious tend to replace reality with faith..Samurai_Jerk wrote:I've heard, though I haven't seen the statistics so I don't know if it's true, that teen pregnancy is highest in the Bible belt. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean it's because of religious fundamentalism

What does that have to do with people not taking responsibility for their kids?
That's kind of what I meant by my 'reality is faith' comment; rather than parents and teachers educating about sex and pregnancy because it's considered evil, it's left to the wisdom of teen curiousity..Samurai_Jerk wrote:The Bible belt tends to be poorer and less educated wich is the kind of environmen that seems to go hand-in-hand with teen pregnancy. ..
