Hmmm, if MacOS-capable PCs come out, I'd rather run the AMD multi-core. Then again, I've got a shitload of desktop licenses for Windows products from my job, so I guess I will just go over to the "Dark Side" since I'm quite happy with Window XPpro setup at work---Apple doesn't have all that great of an advantage anyway

AMD dual-core Athlons 'sell out' in Tokyo

The Register / Monday 20th June 2005 10:47 GMT
AMD's dual-core desktop processor, the Athlon 64 X2, finally went on sale as packaged product for end-users yesterday, though supply may be tight.

....[AMD dual-core Athlon] product may be pricey, but that didn't stop shops selling all their stocks of the new AMD CPUs, local news sources claimed.

Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
