The bearded one I have actually met before. That's the infamous Phred Kaufman, of the Beer Inn Mugishutei in Sapporo. He promotes craft beers and ales in Japan. If you ever go to a brewing competition in Japan, you'll see Phred. When I met Phred at the Rogue Ale House (my local hangout) here in SF, he told me about the Snow Run. He says it's a LOT of fun.

If you are ever in Sapporo, I suggest you pay Phred a visit. He told me he'd hook me up with "anything" I wanted. Nudge Nudge....wink wink....He's lived in Sapporo for 25 years, so he's no Gaijin newbie! He also carries a wide selection of Rogue Ales, which are the best damn brews in the world.

those beers are awesome!!! Ive had the bear and the fox but dont know what that other one was. A friend of mine only carries those beers at his little joint along with a fine selection of whiskies too.

i am from oregon, where the rogue brewery is.. its really the best beer out there, and i really owe it to Phred for mailing me my precious ales. their hazelnut brown is the bees knees.
