It's just a demo. I played a similar game system, must have been back around 1988, I think it was at the CyberArts II conference. I put on bright red gloves and stood in front of a green screen, and the computer did pattern recognition on my hands for position data. I could see myself on the projection screen in front of me, superimposed over the game graphics. The scenario was you were a floating down a blood vessel, punching out the little germs as they came down the vein. It doesn't surprise me that this prototype never made it to market.
