Sorry, not Japan related....but does anyone know her? The bloke in my office has a signed CD and wondered if it was worth chucking on Ebay or not.

Cheers

India Arie... have some of her tracks and she has a nice voice, I think :)

Why would you want to sell it? Despite the fact that's she's not too famous she is a good singer.

Have a look around on eBay, but my guess is not too much... most signed albums start at $10 and top at $25 if you're lucky.

For that kind of money minus the charge I wouldn't bother with it and hold onto it instead. The only stuff I sell over the internet are my used electronic gadgets because I reckon anything cheaper is just not worth the hassle. :?

I just poked around ebay and in the last two/three weeks, the highest selling price for an item with 'India arie' in the title was 5.5 pounds.

On many products, during summertime, Ebay can weak marketplace for sellers because there are simply not that many bidders out there to drive up prices to "good" levels.

I'd advise your friend to wait until fall, when the college kids and office drones are back in front of their PCs....but, I suspect he's only going to make enough for movie ticket and maybe popcorn on the deal. Signed stuff on Ebay is fairly nortorious for being fake and prices generally reflect that, esp. on new sellers or sellers with very low feedback levels.
