Tall Englishmen

Postby Samurai_Jerk » Mon Jul 11, 2005 2:51 am

When I was on the JET Program in Saitama I remember going to some sort of international festival in (it think) Ageo. There were a ton of other JETs there and I remember these two American girls talking about how tall all the English guys were. I hadn't noticed until she said it but almost every male English JET I met in Saitama was over 6 feet tall. I know that average height in the UK isn't that much more than the US so I was pretty surprised. What the hell was going on in Saitama? Did they just send all of the tallest English JETs there are are you guys secrectly catching up with the Dutch?

A little off topic, but when were you a JET in Saitama?
