Big Brother is Watching You Call Japan!

Postby Samurai_Jerk » Wed Jul 13, 2005 4:27 am

I called Sprint yesterday to set up international calling ability on my cell phone so I can make some calls to Japan. The woman I talked to said it will take up to 48 hours for the change in my service to take effect because, since 9-11, they have to do security checks before they can activate it. WTF? Do you guys think she was full of shit and just using that as an excuse for their crappy slow service? Or is this Patriot Act thing even worse than I thought. Creepy.

It's Sprint :-) Guys who fail to qualify to work at Radio Shack go to Sprint. I think people just use 911 as an excuse now.

Yeah, Sprint sucks. Any of you FGs that are in the US or returning soon (AK) don't get Sprint for your cell phone service. I hate them and I've never met a person on Sprint who's happy with their service.

I think they're full of shite.

when I was doing a report on the Patriot Act I never saw anything about cell phones.

BTW, there are lies told by phone employees that are like urban myths. I know, I used to be one.

Thank you I'll be here all week.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.
