From Yuki Yoneda's "Miniature World"
Mediacorp: Miniature replicas are big business in Japan
OSAKA : Miniature in size they may be, but these replicas are big business in Japan. An increasing number of people are now into collecting or making their very own mini-sized buildings, food and other objects. Everything at a fair in Osaka was pint-sized, but it attracted a large crowd of over 400 visitors...It is a hobby that housewife Megumi Tatsumi takes seriously..."It takes trial and error to come up with new designs. I'm happy when it shapes up to look like the real thing. It makes me feel like I'm in the miniature world myself."
