could be your cookies or temp internet files. Try clearing them. It could also just be a temp glitch with the server that your account is residing on... Try back in a day or so.

Have you tried another browser? Could be a browser issue as well.

I recommend switching off hotmail. Microsoft announced they're going to use a new controversial antispam system that only accepts email from authenticated sources. The system will be slow to get off the ground, if ever, at the sender level. So your hotmail account will not accept mail from millions of ISPs that don't meet Microsoft's new standard.

Ditch hotmail. Try Yahoo or Gmail (if you can get an invite).

Hotmail

Postby TobidashiChui » Mon Jul 18, 2005 3:47 am

The basic process of getting into any web service not properly responding to login or password authentication is:

1) (As said above) Scrub the Cookies and Temp files.

2) Deactivate any application designed to aggressively eliminate Java or ActiveX controls (Google Toolbar, Yahoo Pop Up Blocker, etc)

3) Use a different browser to see if the problem goes away.

4) Contact me for a Gmail invite.

Thank you all :D

Firstly I did Scrub the Cookies and Temp files...I think maybe after that I had probs...not sure tho.

I`ve tried Opera (my prefered browser) but cant log on...cookies are enabled but it says they are`nt.

Interesting about Hotmail....I`ll try something else.

TobidashiChui.

How should I contact you for an Invite? (and thanks too..)

Do you have a firewall? If so, temporarily shut if off and see if that clears it up.

Also some antivirus software can block it.
