The new me

Postby Jack » Thu Mar 22, 2007 12:40 am

Hi folks, you have noticed that I have decided to appeal to a new market and changed my personality. I'm going up-market in tone, and obviously low-market (if there is such a thing as going lower) in quality. I have decided to use a univerese of 15-word vocabulary to express all the complex sentiments that I'd like to put in words. I will be watching for all the arrogant, pompous, patronizing, Japs-are-no-good, English-is-best-in-the-world, yellows-can-never-be-as-good-as-whites, and we-are-always-right threads and will basically turn a poster into minced meat with 15 words or less.

You have been warned.

OK, explain in 15 words or less (you can repeat the same word without increasing the word count) why you believe that you (being a western male) are less worthy of respect than a Japanese person of similar age.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

Oh, hang on. Wait a minute. I didn't read your full post before replying so I didn't know that 'I had been warned'. I take it all back.

Please, in future, if you are going to use the 'you have been warned' edict then do so at the start of the thread, preferably in bold, so everybody knows that they have been warned in advance. Otherwise you are just going to get a whole lot of people posting their thoughts without knowing what they say here might have dire consequences for them in the future.
