An executive of Nestle Japan Ltd was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in Kobe, police said. Simon Henty, 45, a New Zealand national and Kobe resident, allegedly drove a car under the influence along a toll road in Kobe at around 8:30 a.m. He was arrested after a breath test was conducted by a police officer, who arrived at the site of the road where his car hit a car ahead of him, resulting in minor injuries to a woman in the car, according to police officials. The police are also investigating Henty on suspicion of negligence resulting in injury. Nestle Japan, a unit of international food and beverage conglomerate Nestle S.A., says he heads a section dealing with commercial food and beverages.
