A husband took his wife for a late honeymoon to a Hokkaido resort hotel earlier this month. They had formally married in July but the trip was arranged to coincide with her birthday as an extra treat. Unfortunately, our young hero, an acupuncturist and judo instructor called Yamaguchi, blotted his copybook somewhat. While passing by a ladies bathing area, he noticed that there was an angle from where a man so-inclined could sneak a snapshot inside. Pulling out his digital camera, Yamaguchi struck what reports call a "banzai pose", with the camera above his head, and clicked away.
Yamaguchi had left the flash on which was spotted by a woman inside the bathing area. She quickly alerted a male hotel employee who discovered Yamaguchi, seemingly unaware he had been busted, staring at the naked bodies he had just captured on the viewing screen of his camera. The police arrived to take him away. A contrite Yamaguchi apologized and said he had unexpectedly glimpsed some naked flesh and was just overcome with the need to capture the image.
His wife announced her intention to file for divorce and made her way back home alone.
