It's Summer Gift Season!

Postby Catoneinutica » Thu Jul 21, 2011 12:27 pm

And that means the cigarette-reeking chimpira emeritus Sagawa man is hefting overpackaged boxes of shit to the door every evening. So far the weirdest thing we've gotten is a box of glass wine-bottle shaped containers of "Mon Cafe" coffee. Think I'm going to put them on the curb for the local homeless/cart pullers/poverty-stricken baba/jiji when the wife's not looking. What the oddest, most useless gift you guys have gotten?

I was given one of these last summer.
It's still in the box in the garage.

No beer here yet, or towels, glasses, nifty mini nagashi soumen devices :(.
I have received a big pack of mixed nuts and other salty snacks (goes well with beer), watermelons, pumpkins, tomatoes, and a big crate of potatoes this morning (all radiation-free, home-grown). All gifts were from relatives, a bonus of living in rural Kyushu.

It's not as if I don't drop enough hints either. Still end up with a mound of fucking somen a million starving vegans couldn't finish in a month of Sundays.
