Yeah try to input gps coordinates and path into a donkey and see if it can bring the supplies by himself... I think the point of this thing is to be able to follow the same footpath as the soldiers it should reach. (unless you send a team with batman, spiderman and super Dupont to kill Ben Ladinde)

Well, some animals are perfectly able to find their way to a certain destination without being input with GPS coordinates: pigeons, dogs, bees, ants, etc. Dunno about donkeys, but they should be smarter than ants. And they can adapt themselves to changing circumstances, which is difficult for robots.

And they have orifices...

Sure they can....if they've been there before?

Just wait til Japan copies this thing and turns it to a bipedal robot that looks like schoolgirl, carries your luggage and follows you everywhere. Akihabara is going to be crowded with ones that dance.
