I know a group of Japanese single-moms that go clubbing nearly every night, drive new cars, live in nice apartments, yet work at low-paying part-time jobs. Why? They're milking the same system.

I wonder how these numbers compare with overall numbers. I also wonder if there's anything unique about the kind of cheating that FGs do and the kind of cheating that Japanese do. In other words, is this really a story or is it sensationalism?

Vast majority of the foreign recipients are foreigners born and bred in Japan

The story is nearly cutely written... they want to trigger outrage against foreigners... but seems they have no big hope toward the intelllect of their mouthbreathing readership...

Question... the wife of a foreigner... now divorced... What kind of visa she have ? Because I know that i might have been able to get a visa through mah spawn instead of mah wife... because them both were nippondjinz... But in their case... if everybody is a fureigner... WTF !? Or... as I suspect a little more... the same way the highlight is put on the supposedly cheating foreigner husband, who is not cheating since he got a job... they also moderately forget to say that the wife on wellfare is a bit more japandjinz than not... (also... the trick of going to another appartement for inspections by the state wellfare division... they might want to make better bullshit for this part of the story... sounds a bit pushing the stretch of impractical imagination too far...)

THIS...sounds like the wife is Jappy and she is indeed the one committing the fraud. (though it is obviously a team effort)

I don't know why you would assume that. It's very possible that the wife has PR.

That would make it a -rarer- case no ?

It's Much more easy to assume the wife is japadjin (allowing er to maybe easily rent another flat, thing she certainly would not be able to do if she was broke and fureign) than the fact that she's having a PR visa...
Can she even get one being only the wife of a fureigner anyway ? this theory sounds like the shool of throwing shit against the wall... hey... it might stick afterall !!

You're assuming they didn't meet here and get married. She may have been gainfully employed at one time. She also might have been married to a J national before. The husband might have been the one to come on a dependent visa and was able to line up a job and a visa after the divorce. There are so many possibilities. Anyway, I meet a lot more Asians (and I'm not even including Zainichi Koreans) with PR or citizenship than I do Westerners.

When I was a bartender... saw so many cases of this. they had nannys to care during the evening while they sleep before they go clubbing.

dont think about them though... only fucked gaijin do wrong things like that...

Japanese people would never do that... taking a pension from a decaying parent in the closet for 10 years would never happen

There are some part time jobs with short hours and high hourly rates available to young women. Cash in hand, off the books, no tax, no paper trail.

AFAIK, no. Get child support payments from exes, get government assistance through various programs, get some wages. Not making them wealthy, but pretty comfortable.

The wife's status was conveniently left out of the article. I'm in the nihonjin wife camp.

I agree that's the mostly likely explanation but I can't assume anything.

I was dating a J-Hoe who had three children from three different blacks. She was very hot, too! Never nailed her, though. She did give me a chance a few times but she came off a bit too ghettofabulous, for me. I just can't concentrate on someone that's laid with so many brothers. She would leave her kids home alone while she worked at as a part-time clerk at convenience store. She dressed ghetto fabulousouly. Bet even odds some of the black navy guys on here know her. I could probably mention her by name.

It's a pretty reasonable assumption considering the fact they didn't note her nationality. (wareware nihonjinron default status)

Japanese people, when abusing the system, which is whenever they can, do their very best to save face and preserve the wa.

That's the main -only?- difference with FG.

Listen, monkeys could control the world given the proper tools. So if you give monkey the right tools, you've got a world controlled by tools. Think about it.
