THIS...sounds like the wife is Jappy and she is indeed the one committing the fraud. (though it is obviously a team effort)

I don't know why you would assume that. It's very possible that the wife has PR.

It's Much more easy to assume the wife is japadjin (allowing er to maybe easily rent another flat, thing she certainly would not be able to do if she was broke and fureign) than the fact that she's having a PR visa...

You're assuming they didn't meet here and get married. She may have been gainfully employed at one time. She also might have been married to a J national before. The husband might have been the one to come on a dependent visa and was able to line up a job and a visa after the divorce. There are so many possibilities. Anyway, I meet a lot more Asians (and I'm not even including Zainichi Koreans) with PR or citizenship than I do Westerners.

When I was a bartender... saw so many cases of this. they had nannys to care during the evening while they sleep before they go clubbing.
