Question... the wife of a foreigner... now divorced... What kind of visa she have ? Because I know that i might have been able to get a visa through mah spawn instead of mah wife... because them both were nippondjinz... But in their case... if everybody is a fureigner... WTF !? Or... as I suspect a little more... the same way the highlight is put on the supposedly cheating foreigner husband, who is not cheating since he got a job... they also moderately forget to say that the wife on wellfare is a bit more japandjinz than not... (also... the trick of going to another appartement for inspections by the state wellfare division... they might want to make better bullshit for this part of the story... sounds a bit pushing the stretch of impractical imagination too far...)

It's Much more easy to assume the wife is japadjin (allowing er to maybe easily rent another flat, thing she certainly would not be able to do if she was broke and fureign) than the fact that she's having a PR visa...
Can she even get one being only the wife of a fureigner anyway ? this theory sounds like the shool of throwing shit against the wall... hey... it might stick afterall !!

Samurai_Jerk wrote:I wonder how these numbers compare with overall numbers. I also wonder if there's anything unique about the kind of cheating that FGs do and the kind of cheating that Japanese do. In other words, is this really a story or is it sensationalism?
Samurai_Jerk wrote:You're assuming they didn't meet here and get married. She may have been gainfully employed at one time. She also might have been married to a J national before. The husband might have been the one to come on a dependent visa and was able to line up a job and a visa after the divorce. There are so many possibilities. Anyway, I meet a lot more Asians (and I'm not even including Zainichi Koreans) with PR or citizenship than I do Westerners.
