Just the idiots around me think I'm having a mild heart attack. Which in turn is sending the wife in a tizzy. Because I obviously I have no idea what I'm talking about... which is mostly true come to think about it, but I know I'm not having a heart attack.

Okay not to be rude but you would choose a chiropractor over a licensed medical doctor?
nikoneko wrote:Okay not to be rude but you would choose a chiropractor over a licensed medical doctor? When you are in pain and can't sit or sleep right? That is just down right silly man. Find the closest modern looking 外科 clinic and take a native speaker with you. Go in explain what the problem is and let them figure it out.
FWIW while I have been here I have been diagnosed and treated for Rheumatoid Arthritis, dealt with the ongoing problems I will have the rest of my life from it such as my back going out at random fun intervals, was diagnosed as needing and had surgery for a deviated septum here, two cracked ribs, got stitches in my forehead just last week as a matter of fact, on and on and I have never had anything but incredible care at any step of the way.
Go to a real doctor and get help fast. I will be in constant pain for the rest of my life and I don't fuck around with silliness and complaining, if you get bad care go to the next guy.

I can also 100% vouch for local vets over MD's...

BTW, did you move to Hiroshima recently?

I very very strongly suspect that what you seek is not a medical word but a chiropractic word. These disciplines are not the same: each side will gladly confirm that opinion.
Speaking generally, many of the more elderly, experienced medical practitioners in Japan studied their medicine in German, so if you know the scheisse fausting schplitzing terminology you will be home and hosed in the medical field.
Chiropractic, having been developed by a magnetic healer in Davenport Iowa, has always been taught based on English Language texts, and your ribs may be subluxed as fulsomely here as anywhere else and the message should get through.
