Please consider anything written in The Scotman as Gospel.
Ah yes, you have warned me before about The Scotsman Steve.
Should I equate The Scotsman with the New York Daily News (or the MDN Online)?
Anyway, it was a shameful twisting of Mrs Watai's words. Of course she knew of the other woman.
"Watai said she was not worried about a report by a Philippine newspaper on Monday quoting a local chess grandmaster as saying Fischer had a Filipino wife and a child living there.
"Bobby has said he has never been married until now, so I don't think there is a problem," Watai said."
What bugs me more is the claim of Mr. Bosnitch that he doesn't know anything about Bobby Fischer's rantings, sheesh.
By The Globe and Mail / Thursday, August 19, 2004 - Page A3....Mr. Bosnitch said he has not investigated reports of anti-Semitic or anti-U.S. comments by Mr. [Bobby] Fischer. "I only set one rule for myself when I decided to volunteer to help him," he said. "I promised myself that I would not allow myself to be diverted from the single issue of defending Bobby Fischer's legal human rights."
