Do any lifers ever wear Kimono or Yukata?
I havent, since I am a bit to tall and cant get a good one to fit. I have looked at sumo ones but i am not fat enough. Plus cant get shoes anyway.

My lead carpenter back in Colorado wears the full Japanese construction worker kit (funny purple floppy trousers, split-toe shoes, head-rag) that used be to mine. I sometimes wear a jimbei (imagine a lightweight judo suit made of indigo-dyed cotton) on the farm or around the house.

Hey Taro, where'd you get this picture? I think the guy in it is my friend Ben (probably still toiling away in Nagoya...).

But your arse looked so cute in it...
My bro wears kimono to summer festivals etc and jinbei all the time. I have two yukata`s that I haven`t worn yet but really want to. I also have a really nice antique kimono that needs to be shown off but I need an occassion..
