There will come a time when the resources of this planet cannot meet the need and China will suffer due to that bloated population.

I hear all this china is the next big thing... reminds me of the Pre-bubble days of Japan, look what happened... ho hum... 8O

No shit. I think China is so fucking over-hyped. People have been waiting for her to "wake up" for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

Just to put the Chinese miracle into perspective (once again), let me mention that I'm now the proud owner of an uninterruptible power source. Despite living in a major Chinese city, it's a necessity given the periodic power shortages thanks to overuse of air conditioners in the summer.

And I won't even go into the water shortages. Better, the water that does arrive has a nice orange tint (prior to my use of a water purifier).

Miracle my ass.

The tap water is drinkable without major ill effects (as I learned prior to buying a water purifier), but after the water stopped once and I saw the rust-colored stuff coming out of the tap, I figured I shouldn't risk it. Same thing with the occaisional power outages.

and Japan is still a Shithole

even if Commie land China is only growing a stupid bubble
and this economic China-bubble only lasts 10 yrs, it will be still powerful enough to eclipse Nippon and send Japan's banking system back into the Stone Age

China has excuses for being fucked up,
but go into the country side in Nippon and you'll find people without running water, Ghosttowns from the bursting banking system, Japanese people with no garbage disposal, shitting into holes in the ground...
