That seemed real to me. Looks like 'Happy Slapping'. That guy should be given the death penalty. Someone could put it on-line for my amusement.

A girl I know said that something like this just happened to her friend a couple of weeks ago. She was walking up the stairs in the train station wearing low-rise jeans and some guy came up behind her a pulled her jeans and panties down to her ankle then took off running. She started screaming and some other guy ran over to see what was wrong and offer help, but then she started yelling at him to go away since her ass and bush were exposed to the world. Maybe he incident will end up in one of these videos. Yikes.

BTW, that vomit girl never ceases to disgust me. It's amazing what people will do for a few bucks.

I hope the Japanese turn the heat up on these guys. Once they catch one, they need to slam him hard and make a media event of it.

A similar thing happened to some foreign women I know(I`m sure japanese women coped it too)

A japanese guy would come up to her and ask for directions or similar, then make a huge lunge at her tits and squeeze them

This happened to several women in the same town, naturally the police offered ZERO help.

japanese men are really scum of the earth.

This is why I generally don't like Japanese men. What sort of sick mofo could even dream shit like this up?!

No, it doesn't. It's like racism... it happens everywhere, only in Japan (and some other countries, granted) it isn't frowned upon the way it should.

Imagine this guy doing this in Amsterdam, London or New York? He'd get his ass kicked before you can say "haute cuisine", not to mention thrown in the nick.

True, it happens everywhere.. But do you think any of those girls in the video contacted the police? Filed a complaint? Or any of the by-standers confronted the film crew, or the attackers?

I see less 'consequences' for doing something 'bad' in Japan than in most any other country I've visited; criminals can walk all over people because they're allowed to. The 'wa' is the law, but to someone who doesn't give a fuck about society, Japan is a virgin begging to be soiled.. Why do you think most of us are here. ;)

I'm with Sammy on this one. Have you seen those 'Happy Slap' vids f rom the UK? What about spring break on the beaches in Florida and So Cal? Japan's shit has a unique twist, that's true, but ours smells just as bad.

Not exactly the same thing, but in Dublin we get quite a few English in on the weekend. On a few occasions Ive seen pissed up English and Welsh guys and girls doing similar shit in the street - but usually to their friends.

By-the-by, my mum does interpreting for the police sometimes, and had to go to a small town down the country recently for a rape case. It took place down a small laneway and the cops said 90% of the rapes in the town take place down that laneway... 8O ...they need a koban down there methinks...or at least a streetlight.

Thank you Captain Obvious. The problem however is that this is a small slice of the shit their women have to put up with on a daily basis. So I think Japanese guys are a disgrace to the human race, unless you're one of them. my opinion shouldn't mean shit to you.

First of all that video could be staged. And believe me, if you live in the right (or is that wrong) neighborhood in a lot of US cities, the criminals walk over people and the police do jack shit. Try calling 911 fr om the ghetto.

I think sexual molestation/assault cases are not handled as well in Japan as in other countries. Does anyone remember that time a few years ago when women all over Central Park in New York were being molested in broad daylight? I think it was in conjunction with a parade of some sort. The police didn't do anything there either, but at least prosecutions of the men followed: http://groups.msn.com/CentralParkattacks/justice.msnw

Ah, yeah, the Puerto Rican Day Parade. The annaul sexual harrassment fest. That year just got out of hand but it's always pretty bad. NY is a great example of a city where people don't do shit when they see something happening. Actually, it might just be human nature.

Last year I was walking in Seattle at about 10:30 AM on a Sunday morning. I heard a woman screaming for help and a guy came running past me. Then I saw her and she was yelling for me to stop him because he had her purse. I followed him a little to see where he went while dialing 911 on my cell. After I lost him I went back to make sure she was OK and waited with her until the police came. No one else did shit. They all just turned around and kept walking as if they didn't see anything.

When I was in living in NY in junior high a women in my apartment building was attacked in the hallway by some guy that had followed her home. He was beating her face in, she was bleeding every where, and none of the men living in the building except my dad did shit. They didn't even open their doors or call 911. My dad ran out in his boxers (it was about 5:00 am), chased the guy off, took her up to our apartment, and called the police.

So, no, I don't think the just-pretend-it's-not-happening-and-keep-walking mentality is unique to Japan. I've seen shit like that happen in plenty of places.

I wasn't only talking about by-standers helping people or calling the police.. I also mentioned the victims protecting themselves.

No, I wouldn't expect immediate police action while I runned around pulling panties down in the south side of Chicago, but I would expect a face of mace, a 9mm in the gut, or a proper ass whooping.. by my victims!

Like I said before; yes, it happens everywhere, but I still think the consequence to action ratio is a lot more forgiving in Japan..

This shit happens everywhere- people just have different reactions and views on it. Fuck if some little creep did that to me id die of embarrassment for about 10 seconds then id pull my pants back up and chase after the mother f*cker and beat the shit out of him.
These sort of things may seem funny and lighthearted - but to many females it could completly shatter their confidence

That's what I would've thought until I had some guy start rubbing one out in the urinal next to me while looking at my dong. I just felt sick and wanted to get the fuck out of there. :puke:
